Where are you based & do you travel?
I am based in Stafford, VA but service the entire Northern Virginia area. And Yes! I do travel!
Will you help us decide what to wear?
Omg, YES! One of my favorite things to do is to help style my clients! I’ll be working with you right from the start & providing you with a “what to wear” styling guide for your session. It will include some great links where you can purchase outfits from.
Do you Provide gowns for maternity sessions?
I sure do! 🙂 All maternity sessions include a stylish boutique gown to use the day of your session.
Do you help us with locations?
Yes! I have a blog post here filled with locations that we could use. Depending on the type of session you have booked I can suggest a variety of beautiful places we can shoot at.
How soon in advance should I book my session?
The sooner the better! I book 4-6 months in advance for all sessions but you can always reach out to see if I have any last-minute availability.
What if my child has Special needs?
I’ve got this! I worked for over ten years in the photography field with children & adults with special needs. My understanding & experience in human behavior allows me to work with individuals from all spectrums.
How Soon after the session do I receive my online gallery?
Usually, within 14 days from your session, you will be emailed a link to your gallery which you will be able to view and purchase your images from.
How many images do you provide in my gallery?
Depending on your session I usually provide 25-40 images in your gallery to view and purchase from.
Do I have to print through you?
You are not obligated to print through me but I highly recommend doing so. After all, You are investing your money into your session and want your photos to look the absolute best!
What if it rains?
We will reschedule for the next available date.
What time of the day do you typically shoot?
I shoot all my outdoor sessions during the golden hour which is typically at sunset. My indoor lifestyle sessions I shoot late morning to early afternoon.
Why don’t you offer mini sessions?
I don’t offer mini sessions because they are too rushed and impersonal. In my opinion, taking photos for 15-20 minutes is not enough time for anyone especially if you have a child with special needs or who isn’t in the best of moods. I offer full sessions with no limit on time so everyone has a chance to relax & breathe
