6 Reasons Why To Hire A Birth Photographer | We all know that in hiring a professional birth photographer you get memories that will last for generations, you will have someone there that can handle the poor lighting conditions, and that has been trained to handle births and so on and so forth. These are all reasons that you should hire a birth photographer, but I have reasons of my own and that’s why I am writing you this. I want to tell you why capturing your birth is more important than just the fact that I can handle poor lighting conditions.

1. If your partner is deployed.
As a military spouse, I know all too well about your partner not being able to be there for the birth of your baby. Having someone there to capture those moments on video and stills is the very best way to allow your partner to have some feeling of being there for the big day.

2. You hire a wedding photographer to capture your special day, why not have a birth photographer there to capture the next best day of your lives.
You spend thousands of dollars to have a photographer there to capture all the little details of your big day, marrying your best friend and partner in life. Why not hire a birth photographer to capture the next best day in both your lives as you become mom and dad?

3. To capture the moment your partner becomes a parent.
I know for me, seeing my husband becoming a father again was the most emotional moment besides saying my vows to him in front of friends and family. The look on his face when he became a dad to our son was even more special. There is something about watching your partner in life hold your newborn baby that melts your heart.

4. So you don’t regret not capturing these precious moments.
I can remember when I had our first daughter 10 years ago, and birth photography was not a thing back then. I wish I would have had someone there to capture those moments, the look on her dad’s face, her taking her first breath, her first cry. All the first that I will never be able to re-live again. Our children grow up fast and you can always look back on your birth photos and remember how small, sweet and cute they were. One day, they may not be so sweet when they are being a teenager.

5.Your child is priceless, just like these first few moments.
You can’t put a price on these memories. You spend a lot of money on your wedding day and then family photos will come, and you will have to get hair and makeup done, go out and buy outfits for that session. How can you put a price on a moment you will never be able to recreate? Isn’t capturing the birth of your first, second, or rainbow baby worth capturing? I say YES!

6. To see that you ARE superwoman.
Mothers go through a lot when you are in labor and having a baby. You endure some very intense pain and push through it like a champ. You, my love, are a superwoman. When you are going through this pain and labor you are not thinking about anything but making sure your baby is going to be healthy and you want them out. I mean after all, and I know first-hand, when you have carried a little nugget in your belly for 9 months you are ready to get that baby into this world and get back to normal as can be bodily functions.
